There’s a pretty solid reason that drag racers aren’t road legal. Chief among them: steering and corner control are afterthoughts when your main goal is to propel a hunk of metal and rubber down a straight line as fast as possible.

The above video showcases one of the best ways that a can drag race can go wrong. That is to say, no one got hurt.

It’s a fairly exciting cash days line up, with Street Outlaw’s Monza facing off against fellow super-Camaro, The Godfather. The race goes fairly normally until the Godfather loses control, veering left, and almost taking out Monza in the process.

Fortunately, no one was hurt. The Godfather was pretty banged up, and Monza will definitely need a new nose job, but it’s a lot easier to fix a car than to bring two guys back to life. For that, everyone should be thankful.
