A Toyota Prius recently struck a 40-pound bobcat, and unsurprising to most familiar with the small eco-car, the animal survived.
Despite being stuck to the car's front grill for 50 miles, the bobcat "walked away" with only a small scrape on her back. The women driving the Prius knew she hit something after leaving her home in Eastern Virginia, but didn't stop to see what that something was until she arrived at her workplace.
The animal was looked at by an animal control officer, and then taken to the Wildlife Center of Virginia in Waynesboro. According to foxnews.com she was released back into the wild near the crossroads where she was hit.
