These Broncos are indeed one of a kind

The good folks at Road and Track recently made a very interesting discovery at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale.

Two historic and original Broncos in a booth at the show.

One was this beauty, with  Boss Bronco decals. R&T said it was Ford's prototype for proposed high-performance Bronco built in 1969 and has since been modified to contain a 351 CID engine (from a 1969 GT350). While Ford never made the high-performance Bronco, the Boss Bronco lives on.

R&T also uncovered this half-cab 1966 Bronco that, according to reports is the first Ford Bronco. It may not look pretty, but "first" holds a lot of cache. Gateway  Bronco  has purchased the truck and plans to restore it, R&T reported.
