Forget the flowery run-up. You can see it’s a Challenger and you want the specs. The new “Shakedown” Challenger showcases the finest MOPAR equipment to bring you 485 horsepower to the wheels from an as yet unnamed engine. It also features a Viper Tremec T6060 six-speed transmission for insanely smooth race-inspired shifting. On its feet, you’ll find SRT Hellcat Slingshot 19-inch front wheels and 20-inch rears, with six- and four-piston Hellcat Brembo brakes in the front and rear, respectively, and on the hood, you’ll see 1971 Shaker-inspired hood scoop to maximize engine airflow. All in all, this badass looking Challenger looks to evoke the best of the 70’s muscle cars mixed with the now, and even though we haven’t seen it on the street, it looks to be headed in the right direction.
