This car may look like a Porsche, but, nope.

Ruf, the car manufacturer that has been re-imaging classic Porsche's for years, has come out with the 2017 RUF CTR on its own platform as a tribute to the famous "Yellow Bird". It packs some series wallop - 700 hp, 649-lbs-ft of torque that can propel the car to top speeds of 225 MPH, all encased in a carbon-fiber body.

It was unveiled at the Geneva Motor show.

Now, three decades later, this new version can get 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. It weighs 2,640 pounds and pushes power through a six-speed manual gearbox to the rear wheels.

If all of this sounds appealing, know that's is going to be hard to get one. Ruf is making 30 of these, and while pricing hasn't been announced, Jalopnik says to expect a price of about $793,000.
